Paul's exclusive sculpture trophies are all handcrafted masterpieces made from solid crystal glass. Each of the trophies awarded is therefore completely unique just as all the creations of the talented winners are truly unique. The concept behind the sculptures is that the three-dimensional sound sequences in colored glass, which are then encapsulated by a thick protective layer of solid glass, should represent the winners' unique expression through their creation of music.
The concept behind the sound capsules, is that through the durable solid crystal clear glass that encloses each sound wave will protect and preserve the winners' artistic expression through both time and space. When a capsule is found again in the far future, the isolated sound frequency can be decoded and thus the winning artist's creative expression in music will be rediscovered.
